Welcome to Vega. These Terms of Service ("Terms," "Agreement") constitute a legally binding contract between you ("User," "you," "your") and Vega ("Vega," "we," "our," "us"), the operator of the Vega live-streaming social platform, accessible via the Vega mobile application and any related websites or services (collectively, the "Platform" or "Services"). Please read these Terms carefully before creating an account or using any part of the Services.

 

BY REGISTERING FOR AN ACCOUNT, DOWNLOADING THE APP, OR OTHERWISE ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND ALL POLICIES INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE, INCLUDING OUR PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MUST NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES.

 

These Terms incorporate by reference Vega's Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Virtual Currency Policy, Intellectual Property Policy, and any supplemental terms applicable to specific features. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and any supplemental terms, the supplemental terms shall govern with respect to the subject matter they address.

 

 

1. Eligibility and Account Registration

 

1.1 Age Requirement

The Services are intended exclusively for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By accessing or using Vega, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are accessing the Services on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you further represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

 

1.2 Account Creation

To access most features of Vega, you must register for an account. During registration, you agree to: (a) provide accurate, current, and complete information; (b) maintain and promptly update your account information; (c) keep your login credentials confidential; and (d) accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account. You may register using a valid email address or phone number, or by linking a supported third-party social account (such as Apple ID, Google, or Facebook). Vega reserves the right to reject any registration or to cancel any account at its discretion.

 

1.3 Account Security

You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account password and any authentication credentials. You agree to notify Vega immediately at vega.pet@service if you suspect unauthorized access to or use of your account. Vega will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your credentials. Sharing accounts between multiple individuals or using automated tools to manage accounts is prohibited.

 

1.4 One Account Per User

Each user may maintain only one active Vega account unless Vega explicitly authorizes otherwise in writing. Creating multiple accounts to evade enforcement actions, manipulate rankings, or circumvent platform restrictions is a material violation of these Terms and may result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts.

 

2. Description of Services

 

2.1 Core Features

Vega is a live-streaming interactive social platform that enables users to: broadcast live video content to a global audience; watch live streams across categories including music, gaming, talent, lifestyle, and more; interact with hosts and other viewers via real-time text chat, emoji reactions, and polls; send and receive virtual gifts during live broadcasts; follow creators and receive notifications when they go live; and build a personal audience as a creator.

 

2.2 Service Availability

Vega provides the Services on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire platform at any time with or without notice, including for maintenance, upgrades, security, or business reasons. Vega will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.

 

2.3 Feature Evolution

Vega continuously develops and improves its platform. New features may be introduced, existing features may be altered, and certain features may be retired. We will endeavor to provide reasonable advance notice of significant changes, but reserve the right to make changes immediately when required by safety, legal, or operational considerations.

 

3. User Conduct and Community Standards

 

3.1 General Conduct

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for all content you post, share, broadcast, or otherwise make available on the Platform, and for all actions taken under your account.

 

3.2 Prohibited Conduct

Without limiting other restrictions in these Terms, you expressly agree NOT to:

 Post, broadcast, upload, or share any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, invasive of another person's privacy, or otherwise objectionable.

 Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

 Engage in or promote gambling, pyramid schemes, fraudulent investment solicitations, or other deceptive commercial activities.

 Use the Services to solicit personal information from other users, including passwords, financial details, or government identification numbers.

 Transmit unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, spam, chain letters, or any other form of mass solicitation.

 Use automated scripts, bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other automated means to access, collect data from, or interact with the Services without prior written authorization from Vega.

 Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services or the servers and networks connected to the Services.

 Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services, other user accounts, or Vega's computer systems or networks.

 Upload or transmit any viruses, malware, spyware, or other malicious or harmful code.

 Violate the intellectual property rights of Vega or any third party.

 

3.3 Consequences of Violations

Vega reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove content, restrict account features, suspend, or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms. Depending on the severity of the violation, Vega may report illegal conduct to law enforcement authorities. Enforcement decisions are made in good faith and subject to our internal appeal process described in Section 18.

 

4. Minor Protection and Child Safety

 

4.1 Strict 18+ Requirement

Vega is strictly prohibited for individuals under the age of 18. We employ age-verification mechanisms during registration, including date-of-birth collection and, where required by law, additional identity verification. Accounts that are found or reasonably suspected to belong to users under 18 will be suspended without notice, and all associated data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

 

4.2 Parental Responsibility

Parents and legal guardians are responsible for monitoring their children's internet use. If you become aware that a minor has accessed the Vega platform or created an account, you are encouraged to report it immediately to vega.pet@service. Vega will investigate and act promptly. We recommend that parents use parental control software and device-level restrictions to prevent minors from accessing adult-oriented platforms.

 

4.3 Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Vega has an absolute zero-tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in any form on our Platform. This prohibition encompasses, without limitation: the creation, distribution, possession, or solicitation of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM); sexual grooming of minors; sexual solicitation directed at or involving any person under 18; live-streaming or broadcasting of sexual content involving minors; and any conduct that facilitates or promotes the sexual exploitation or trafficking of minors. We deploy a comprehensive CSAE prevention and detection framework that includes: automated hash-matching technology integrated with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and Microsoft PhotoDNA; real-time AI-based video analysis to detect potential CSAE during live streams; dedicated human moderation teams trained in CSAE detection and trauma-informed review protocols; and mandatory CSAE awareness training for all Vega employees and contractors who handle user content. Any user who creates, shares, solicits, or facilitates CSAE content will be immediately and permanently banned, reported to the NCMEC CyberTipline and relevant domestic and international law enforcement agencies, and may be subject to criminal prosecution. Users who encounter suspected CSAE content must report it immediately using the in-app Report function or by emailing vega.pet@service with the subject line "CSAE Report." All such reports are treated with the highest priority and responded to within 1 hour of receipt.

 

4.4 No COPPA Coverage

Because Vega does not permit users under 13 (or the applicable age threshold in relevant jurisdictions) and takes active steps to prevent their access, the platform is not designed to collect personal information from children in the context covered by COPPA or equivalent legislation. However, should any such data be inadvertently collected, it will be deleted without delay upon discovery.

 

5. User-Generated Content (UGC)

 

5.1 Definition of UGC

"User-Generated Content" or "UGC" means any content that you create, upload, publish, broadcast, transmit, display, or otherwise make available through the Services, including but not limited to live video streams, stream replay recordings (if enabled), text messages and comments, profile images and bios, virtual gift animations you customize, and any audio, visual, or audiovisual material you contribute to the Platform.

 

5.2 Content Standards

All UGC must comply with these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and applicable law. You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have the necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to submit the UGC and to grant the rights described herein; (b) your UGC does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any third party's intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other legal rights; and (c) your UGC does not contain content that is defamatory, obscene, harmful to minors, or otherwise unlawful.

 

5.3 License Grant to Vega

By submitting UGC to the Platform, you grant Vega a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, use, reproduce, modify (for technical and formatting purposes), adapt, publish, translate, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, and create derivative works of your UGC, in whole or in part, in any media format or distribution channel, in connection with the operation, promotion, and improvement of the Services. This license continues for as long as your UGC remains on the Platform. You may remove your UGC at any time (subject to applicable retention obligations), and upon removal the license will terminate except to the extent Vega has already used or distributed the content or is required to retain it.

 

5.4 Retention of Ownership

You retain all ownership rights in your original UGC, subject to the license granted above. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your content to Vega. Vega does not claim intellectual property ownership over UGC created and submitted by users.

 

5.5 UGC Prohibited Content

The following types of UGC are strictly prohibited on Vega:

 Sexual or pornographic content, including nudity, unless explicitly designated as permitted in an authorized adult content category (if ever introduced, subject to separate terms and age verification).

 Content depicting, glorifying, or promoting violence, torture, gore, or self-harm.

 Content that constitutes hate speech based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.

 Content that infringes third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.

 Doxxing: publishing another person's private or personally identifying information without consent.

 Deepfakes or manipulated media designed to deceive viewers or damage reputations.

 Content that promotes, facilitates, or encourages illegal activities including drug trafficking, weapons sales, or financial fraud.

 

5.6 Copyright Infringement (DMCA)

Vega respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent international frameworks. If you believe your copyrighted work has been reproduced or distributed on Vega without authorization, you may submit a written takedown notice to vega.pet@service with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Request." Your notice must include: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the infringing material and its location; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good faith belief; (e) a statement of accuracy and authorization; and (f) your electronic or physical signature. Counter-notices and repeat infringer terminations are handled in accordance with our Copyright Policy.

 

5.7 Content Moderation

Vega employs automated systems and human reviewers to monitor UGC for violations. We reserve the right to remove, edit, or disable access to any UGC at any time without prior notice if we determine, in our reasonable judgment, that such content violates these Terms or poses a risk to users or the platform. Removal of UGC does not necessarily result in account termination; repeated or severe violations may, however, result in suspension or permanent ban.

 

6. Live Streaming Rules and Broadcaster Obligations

 

6.1 Broadcaster Responsibility

When you broadcast live on Vega, you are solely responsible for the content of your stream, including any content contributed by guests you invite to your broadcast. You agree to actively monitor your live room for prohibited comments and interactions, and to use Vega's moderation tools (comment filtering, viewer blocking, stream ending) to prevent or stop violations. You may not use automated bots or services to inflate viewer counts, comment activity, or engagement metrics.

 

6.2 Real-Time Interaction Standards

Live broadcasts are subject to the same content standards as other UGC under Section 5. Given the real-time nature of live streaming, Vega reserves the right to interrupt or terminate any live broadcast that appears to be violating these Terms, regardless of whether a formal review has been completed. Broadcasters whose streams are terminated for violations may lose the ability to go live for a defined suspension period or permanently.

 

6.3 Stream Replay Feature

If you enable the stream replay feature, your completed broadcast may be made available to viewers after the stream ends. By enabling replay, you consent to the additional storage and distribution of your content and confirm that the broadcast is suitable for replay in accordance with these Terms. You may disable replays for any individual stream or globally in your account settings.

 

7. Virtual Currency and In-App Purchases

 

7.1 Vega Coins

Vega operates a virtual currency system called "Vega Coins." Vega Coins are a digital in-app currency that may be purchased with real money and used exclusively within the Vega Platform to send virtual gifts to broadcasters, access premium features, and participate in special in-app events. Vega Coins have no monetary value outside of the Platform, are not legal tender or cryptocurrency, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other currencies by purchasers.

 

7.2 Purchase of Vega Coins

Vega Coins may be purchased through the Vega app via the payment methods made available by Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or other authorized payment channels in your region. All purchases are final at the time of authorization. Prices for Vega Coins are displayed in your local currency where possible, and are subject to applicable taxes and transaction fees. By completing a purchase, you authorize the applicable charge to your payment method.

 

7.3 Virtual Gifts

You may use Vega Coins to send animated virtual gifts to broadcasters during live streams. Virtual gifts are cosmetic in-app experiences and confer no legal rights, ownership, or entitlements outside the Platform. Vega may update, alter, retire, or replace virtual gift items at any time without liability. The display of a virtual gift in the app does not constitute a guarantee of its continued availability.

 

7.4 Broadcaster Revenue Share

A portion of the value of virtual gifts received by a broadcaster may be convertible to real-world earnings through Vega's Creator Monetization Program, subject to the separate Creator Monetization Terms and applicable thresholds, eligibility requirements, and payout schedules. Participation in the Creator Monetization Program requires identity verification and compliance with all applicable tax reporting obligations. Vega reserves the right to withhold payouts pending fraud investigation or if there is a reasonable basis to believe that earnings were generated through manipulation of the platform.

 

7.5 Refund Policy

All purchases of Vega Coins are generally non-refundable, except as required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. Requests for refunds must be submitted to vega.pet@service within 7 days of the purchase date and must include proof of purchase. Vega will not issue refunds for Vega Coins that have already been spent. If you believe an unauthorized purchase was made on your account, you should immediately secure your account and contact us. Refund eligibility for unauthorized transactions is determined on a case-by-case basis following investigation.

Note for iOS users: Purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's refund policies. You may request refunds directly through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Vega cannot process refunds for App Store purchases independently.

Note for Android users: Purchases made through Google Play are subject to Google Play's refund policies. You may submit refund requests through the Google Play Help Center.

 

7.6 Expiration and Account Termination

Unused Vega Coins do not expire while your account remains active and in good standing. If your account is terminated by you or by Vega for a violation of these Terms, any remaining Vega Coins are forfeited without refund to the extent permitted by applicable law. If termination is not due to a breach on your part (e.g., if Vega discontinues the Service), Vega will make commercially reasonable efforts to provide a refund for unused Coins.

 

7.7 Taxes

You are responsible for all taxes, duties, and levies associated with your purchases of Vega Coins and any earnings you receive through the Creator Monetization Program. Vega may collect and remit applicable taxes as required by law. For creators receiving payouts above applicable thresholds, Vega may be required to collect tax identification information and issue tax reporting documents.

 

8. Subscriptions and Premium Features

 

8.1 Subscription Plans

Vega may offer optional subscription plans ("Vega Premium" or similar) that provide access to enhanced features such as ad-free viewing, exclusive profile customization, priority customer support, or elevated broadcast capabilities. Subscription plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) at the rates displayed at the time of purchase.

 

8.2 Auto-Renewal

Unless you cancel before the renewal date, subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current subscription price. You authorize Vega (or the applicable app store) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or through the app store in which you subscribed; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to premium features until that date.

 

8.3 Free Trials

Vega may offer free trial periods for subscription plans. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, you will be automatically charged for the first subscription period. Only one free trial is available per user; attempting to claim multiple free trials by creating new accounts is a violation of these Terms.

 

9. Intellectual Property Rights

 

9.1 Vega's Intellectual Property

The Vega Platform, including but not limited to its software, design, graphics, user interface, trademarks, logos, trade names, and all content created or provided by Vega (excluding UGC), is owned by or licensed to Vega and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, display, perform, publish, license, or create derivative works from any Vega-owned content without our prior written consent.

 

9.2 Feedback

If you submit any ideas, suggestions, feedback, or proposals to Vega regarding the Services ("Feedback"), you grant Vega a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, implement, and incorporate such Feedback for any purpose without any obligation to you. You waive any moral rights or equivalent rights you may have in such Feedback.

 

10. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information in connection with your use of the Services. By using Vega, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. To the extent there is any conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding privacy matters, the Privacy Policy shall govern.

 

You acknowledge that the live-streaming and social nature of the Platform means that content you broadcast or post publicly is visible to a global audience and may be recorded, shared, or redistributed by viewers. You should not broadcast sensitive personal information in a live stream.

 

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The Vega Platform may integrate with or contain links to third-party websites, applications, content, or services. These third-party services are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. Vega does not endorse, sponsor, or assume responsibility for the content, practices, or policies of any third party. Your interactions with third-party services are solely between you and the applicable third party, and Vega disclaims all liability arising from such interactions.

 

Third-party social login providers (e.g., Apple, Google) may share certain profile data with Vega at login. By using a third-party login, you authorize that data sharing and confirm that it complies with the terms of service of the relevant provider.

 

12. Account Termination and Suspension

 

12.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your Vega account at any time by navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account and completing the deletion process. Upon deletion, your profile will be removed from public view within 48 hours. Certain data may be retained for the periods described in our Privacy Policy.

 

12.2 Termination or Suspension by Vega

Vega reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to: violation of these Terms or our Community Guidelines; conduct that we determine poses a risk to users, third parties, or the platform; fraudulent or illegal activity; prolonged account inactivity; or at Vega's business discretion. In cases of severe violations (including but not limited to CSAE-related conduct), termination will be immediate and without prior notice.

 

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your license to use the Services immediately ceases. You will lose access to your account, profile, any accumulated Vega Coins (subject to refund eligibility under Section 7.6), followers, stream history, and any other data associated with your account. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in full force and effect.

 

13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

 

13.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VEGA HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND TITLE; WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE AVAILABLE ON AN UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE BASIS; WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY CONTENT ON THE PLATFORM; AND WARRANTIES REGARDING THE CONDUCT OR REPRESENTATIONS OF OTHER USERS.

 

13.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VEGA, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, EVEN IF VEGA HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

 

TO THE EXTENT VEGA'S LIABILITY CANNOT BE FULLY EXCLUDED, VEGA'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO VEGA IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100.00).

 

13.3 User-Generated Content Disclaimer

Vega is not responsible for UGC posted by other users. Content displayed on the Platform represents the views of the individual creators and does not reflect the views of Vega. Vega does not pre-screen UGC and cannot guarantee its accuracy, legality, or suitability. Your reliance on any UGC is at your own risk.

 

13.4 Third-Party Conduct

Vega is not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the Platform. You acknowledge that interactions with other users carry inherent risks and that Vega disclaims all liability for harm resulting from such interactions. If you have a dispute with another user, you agree to resolve it directly with that user without involving Vega, except that Vega may provide assistance or take enforcement action as described in Section 18.

 

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vega, its parent companies, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, and fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; (b) your UGC; (c) your use of the Services; (d) your interaction with other users; or (e) your violation of any rights of any third party. Vega reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, and in such event you agree to cooperate with Vega's defense.

 

15. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vega's principal operating entity is registered, without giving effect to any conflicts-of-law principles that would require the application of the laws of another jurisdiction.

 

If Vega's principal operating entity is registered in a jurisdiction other than your country of residence, this does not preclude you from relying on mandatory consumer protection rights available to you under the laws of your own country, to the extent such rights cannot be waived by contract under applicable law.

 

16. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

 

16.1 Informal Resolution First

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services by contacting Vega at vega.pet@service and providing a written description of the dispute and the relief you seek. We will respond within 30 days and make reasonable efforts to reach an informal resolution. This informal process is a prerequisite to any formal proceeding.

 

16.2 Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, you agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy (except as provided in Section 16.4) shall be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court. The arbitration shall be administered by a recognized arbitration institution under its applicable rules. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. You understand that by agreeing to arbitration, you and Vega are each waiving the right to a trial by jury.

 

16.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND VEGA AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. If a court finds this class action waiver unenforceable, then the arbitration agreement in Section 16.2 shall be null and void.

 

16.4 Exceptions to Arbitration

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights, or to address CSAE-related violations or other conduct posing an imminent risk of harm. Such proceedings may be initiated without first completing the informal resolution process.

 

16.5 Time Limitation on Claims

Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services must be brought within one (1) year after the event giving rise to the claim. Claims not brought within this period are permanently barred, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

 

17. Platform Integrity and Fair Use

 

17.1 Prohibition on Manipulation

You may not artificially inflate engagement metrics, including viewer counts, follower numbers, comment volume, or gift rankings, through the use of bots, fake accounts, paid services, or any other artificial means. Vega employs automated and manual systems to detect engagement manipulation, and accounts found to be engaging in such practices are subject to immediate suspension and reversal of fraudulent metrics.

 

17.2 Anti-Cheat and Anti-Fraud

Any attempt to exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in the Vega Platform to obtain unauthorized Vega Coins, unlock restricted features, or otherwise gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. You agree to report any vulnerabilities you discover responsibly to vega.pet@service and not to exploit them. Exploitation of platform vulnerabilities may result in permanent account termination and legal action.

 

17.3 Prohibited Commercial Activity

Without Vega's prior written consent, you may not use the Platform for any commercial solicitation, brand promotion, sponsored content, or third-party advertising. This restriction does not apply to the inherent commercial nature of creator monetization through Vega's official Creator Monetization Program.

 

18. Enforcement, Reporting, and Appeals

 

18.1 Reporting Violations

Any user may report content or conduct that they believe violates these Terms or Vega's Community Guidelines by using the in-app "Report" function on any stream, comment, profile, or message. You may also email vega.pet@service with a detailed description. Vega reviews all reports in good faith, with priority given to reports involving imminent harm, CSAE, or illegal conduct.

 

18.2 Enforcement Actions

Vega's enforcement actions range from content removal warnings and temporary feature restrictions, to account suspension and permanent ban, depending on the severity and frequency of violations. Enforcement decisions are guided by our internal Community Guidelines Enforcement Standards, which are updated periodically.

 

18.3 Appeals

If you believe an enforcement action taken against your account or content was in error, you may submit an appeal within 14 days of the action by navigating to Settings > Support > Submit an Appeal or by emailing vega.pet@service with "Appeal Request" in the subject line. Appeals are reviewed by a senior team member not involved in the original decision. We will respond to appeals within 10 business days. Vega's decision on appeal is final.

 

19. Modifications to These Terms

Vega reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will: (a) post the updated Terms with a revised Effective Date at the top of this document; (b) display an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect; and (c) send an email notification to the address registered to your account for significant changes that materially affect your rights or obligations.

 

Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Services and may delete your account. We recommend that you review these Terms periodically to remain informed of your rights and obligations.

 

20. Accessibility

Vega is committed to providing an accessible platform for users of all abilities. We strive to design our Services in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines and applicable accessibility laws. If you encounter any accessibility barriers while using the Platform, please contact us at vega.pet@service with the subject "Accessibility Feedback" and we will work to address your concern promptly.

 

21. Export Control and Sanctions Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations. You may not use the Services if you are located in a country or territory that is subject to a comprehensive trade embargo or is designated as a state sponsor of terrorism under applicable law. You represent that you are not named on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Vega reserves the right to restrict access to the Services from any jurisdiction at any time to comply with applicable law.

 

22. Force Majeure

Vega will not be liable for any delay or failure in performance of any obligation under these Terms to the extent such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond Vega's reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental actions, internet or telecommunications infrastructure failures, or pandemics. In such events, Vega will make commercially reasonable efforts to resume normal operations as quickly as possible.

 

23. Entire Agreement and Severability

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any other policies incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Vega with respect to the Services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the same subject matter.

 

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if it cannot be so modified, it shall be severed from these Terms, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The failure of Vega to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
